Over the last 4 years Wellhouse Leisure conversions have become synonymous with modern design and outstanding build quality. The fact that our vehicles have been tested in magazines like "Which Motorcaravan", "MMM", "Camping Magazine" and "Motorcaravan Monthly" are testament to the way we do things at Wellhouse Leisure.
We only use the best quality products such as SMEV, Cramer, WAECO, Vohringer German wood, Sony audio equipment, Yokohama tyres, TSW wheels, Webasto diesel heaters and Fiamma.
Below are many pictures of the conversions we do but as they say the proof is in the pudding and time after time people who visit us tell us that the workmanship of our conversions are far superior to ANYTHING ELSE they have seen.
The word conversion is like the word "car". The car could be a Ferrari but then again it could also be a Lada! They are both cars but very, very different and it's the same with the conversions. Anyone can put in a hob and a sink and say " it's a camper"! All we can say is take your time and compare our conversions with others, then you can see for yourself the difference in quality.

The Honda Stepwagon has a 2.0 petrol 16v twin cam engine with 130 bhp and is available in 2 or 4WD with an automatic gearbox. They are available from 1996-2004 and shares most of it's parts with the Honda CRV which is very popular in the UK. The Honda is 2 berth and fitted with a Reimo universal pop top roof. The Honda has a passenger swivel seat with access from the cab to the rear of the vehicle. This is a great sized vehicle for everyday use, drives like a car and has the great advantage of being under 2.0m in height. |

The Toyota Noah is available from 1997 onwards and is 2.0 petrol with automatic transmission. These vehicles have cab to rear access and a passenger swivel seat and are six inches shorter in length than a Mazda Bongo. They can only be fitted with an elevating roof and the roof does not have a good roof bed so this vehicle is a 2 berth camper only. The Noah shares the same running gear as the well known Toyota RAV 4, so parts are not a problem. If you want a vehicle larger than a Sparky and cheaper to run than a Bongo this could be the vehicle for you. |

The Toyota Regius is a new shape Hiace but is around 10cm narrower than a UK Hiace/Granvia. They are available from 1997 onwards, the mechanics are the same as the UK Hiace and are available in 2.7 petrol and 3.0 turbo diesel. Many of the vehicle parts such as brake pads are shared with Lexus cars. They can only be fitted with an elevating roof (not a high top roof) and have swivel seats fitted - some vehicles have just the passenger swivel seat but most have both passenger and driver swivel seats. The size and specification make the Regius an ideal everyday vehicle and comfortable, versatile camper. |

This vehicle can be fitted with an elevating roof to provide a 4 berth motorhome or as a 2 berth with a fixed high top roof. We can provide our usual full side conversion with rock and roll bed or have a fixed dinette/sleeping area at the front with the kitchen area and cupboards at the rear. The Mazda Bongo/Ford Freda comes in 2.5TD (2WD or 4WD), 2.0 petrol and 2.5V6 (all 2WD only). They have either a manual or automatic gearbox, the automatic version is much more popular and they are available from 1995 - 2001. The Mazda/Ford shares many of its parts with the Mazda B2500 pick up and the Ford Ranger. The AFT (Auto Free Top) version has an electric elevating roof which can sleep 2 people giving a total of 4 berth. The Mazda Bongo is a great sized vehicle for everyday use with car like driveability with a fully fitted camper conversion. |
