Wellhouse started to work with Hyundai UK back in late 2010 and we sold the i800 for 3 years. In late 2013 worldwide demand for Hyundai’s meant Hyundai UK were struggling to supply with the amount of vehicles we needed so we slowly moved on to other brands. However, now the production is increased in 2016 we decided to start converting the i800 again. The new 2016 model is a Euro 6 and will have some conversion changes as well and we are now calling it the “i-Camper”. Why Hyundai? You need to look at the current Hyundai range and where they have come from in the last few years. The i-camper is fantastic product and the i800 base vehicle, although it’s been around of a few years, has proved to be a reliable and robust vehicle. The i-Camper is RWD, under 2m high, Euro 6 and offers a proper automatic 5 speed gearbox and the 2.5 CRDi engines are fantastic to drive and are a very torquey engine and the auto gives 440 NM of torque which is class leading.
